SEC’s Crypto Task Force to Engage Small Firms in Nationwide Roundtables
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is expanding its outreach to smaller crypto ventures with a series of roundtables led by Commissioner Hester Peirce. The initiative targets firms with fewer than 10 employees and less than two years of market presence—entities often overshadowed by larger Web3 projects in previous regulatory discussions.
"Regulatory frameworks must account for all market participants, not just the most visible," Peirce emphasized. The task force will begin its tour in Berkeley on August 4, followed by stops in Boston, Dallas, Chicago, and New York later this month.
